THRIFT STORE:  Our Thrift
Store is a three fold ministry.  
We serve the community by
offering second hand items at
a reasonable cost.  Through
our Outreach Ministry we
provide household items and
clothes to those in need at no
cost.  We work with families
and help clean out homes of
furniture and other items.  The
Thrift Store has a truck for
local pick up and delivery
usually on Tuesdays.  The
hours are Tuesday through
Saturday from 8:30 to noon
except during the summer
when the store is closed on
saturdays
Our Ministries: Worship; Thrift Store; Alzheimer's support; Senior Dinning Site;
Meals on Wheels;
Our Worship Service is at 8:30 and 11:00 am except during the Summer
(Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Weekend) when we go to one service at
9:30.   Our service is traditional   There is an adult Bible study and a fellowship time
between the services.  The study for the fall of 2011 will be on the book of Hebrews
and is taught by the Rev. Cummings.   Usually the second or third Sunday of the
month, there is a community breakfast served between the services.  There is no
charge for breakfast although donations are welcome.
The Alzheimer's support group meets
the first  and third Thursday of each month
at 2:30 in the CE Building.  This is an
informal time of sharing, support, and an
occasional speaker
Senior Services sponsors an Adult Dining Site in our
Annex building Monday thru Friday from 9:30 to 12:30.  
Please call a day ahead of time for reservations for lunch.  
In addition
Meals on Wheels go out from the Dining Site
and the volunteers who deliver the meals are coordinated
by Fran in the church office.

Cub Scouts meet on Monday                  
  evenings.   
Boy Scouts meet
on Friday evenings.  For additional

Boys & Girls Club sponsors an after school program for  
elementary students at Greenway and Emerald Shores schools
every afternoon.  Transportation is provided from the schools for
$25 a month and yearly dues are $15.
