Our Staff

Our staff is here to serve the community in the name of Jesus thanks for the gifts that each one shares with our church family and with the community.

Pastor Alan Cummings

Pastor Cummings has served our congregation since 1995 after serving churches in South Carolina. He is a native of Ohio and is married to the Rev. Rhonda Link-Cummings. They have three married children: Steve teaches English in Taipei, Taiwan; Chris is the Assistant Women's Soccer coach for UCF, and Rebecca works in the Charleston, SC area. They host international high school students from Europe each school year.

Alan is active in the community and serves on the Board of Directors for the Montgomery Presbyterian Conference Center, the Ocala Soap Box Derby, and the local Kiwanis Club. He has served as a High School soccer coach and continues to volunteer at Lake Weir High.

Laurie Rangel - Music Director

Laurie joined the staff in 2003 and is a native of Maryland. She is married and has two grown children. She teaches music at Anthony Elementary School.

Barbara Barsel - Administrative Assistant

Barbara joined the staff in 2006. She has extensive office experience from her days in NYC and New Jersey until she retired to Florida. She is active in a variety of craft groups and lives in the Del Webb Spruce Creek community.

Judy Stuck - SEED Director

Judy joined our staff in 1996 and has made child care her career. She holds the Director's credentials and supervises our quality program that always receives praise from the inspectors.

Angie Kearsing - Facility Manager

Angie joined our staff in 2016 and was promoted to Facility Manager in 2020. She is a multi-talented person that cuts the grass, fixes toilets, and paints rooms, and a variety of other tasks around our church campus.
