Fall 2026 Bible Study – Gospel of Luke

Our Church Bible Study is led by the Rev. Alan Cummings who will lead us in our study of the Gospel of Luke on Sunday mornings following worship or Tuesday mornings at 10:00. Luke’s purpose is to write an orderly account so that we may know the truth about Jesus. Luke incorporates many Old Testament references that demonstrate that Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s promises to Israel and the world. Everyone is welcome to join us.

OCTOBER 2026 CIRCUIT RIDER Childrens SS Notes

Activity baskets are located at each entryway with books, supplies and activity pages for your child’s use during worship. The activity pages may be taken home, but please return the books and supplies for the following Sunday. Debbie Button provides the Children’s Sermon each Sunday. Children will remain in the Sanctuary on Communion Sunday.

Our theme for October is “Jesus’ Mission on Earth” which was to seek and save the lost, preach the good news of the Kingdom of God, and offer His life as a ransom for humanity. The Bible passage for October is John 15:5 – “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

Listed below are the following Teachers and Assistants who have volunteered to teach this month: Oct 11: “Jesus is the Vine” - Beth Hogue & Ashley Winfree; Oct. 18: “Jesus Commits to God’s Will” - Wendy Lyon & Diana Chamberlain; Oct. 25: “Jesus Forgives His Enemies” - Beth Hogue & Lisa Scott. Thank you to our awesome volunteers who willingly give of their time and talents to teach our children.
